The Estate Office owes much of its success to the vision of its co-founders, Nicholas Cowell and Adrian Levy, both of whom continue to be directors of the business. Their vision was two-fold:
Residential Sector
In the first instance, the co-founders recognised that the marketplace of the mid-1980s lacked any agencies specialising in the development and investment opportunities available within the residential sector. Accordingly, the Estate Office filled this gap, becoming one of London’s first agencies to focus on this specific area and becoming instrumental in transforming the face of the capital’s streets.
The Estate Office is still very active in the residential sector and is currently working on instructions worth many hundreds of millions of pounds.
Deal-Making Expertise
The second strand of the co-founders’ vision was to offer a unique service based upon a combination of strategic advice and deal-making expertise. It is this unique combination that has enabled the Estate Office’s clients to make timely acquisitions and disposals that have realised the full value of a property’s investment or development potential.

The two founders have grown their practice until it now occupies prestige premises in Little Venice, Maida Vale.
